Have you ever settled into pigeon pose or a heart opener and had a strong emotion or memory come up out of no where? Are these distractions to be pushed aside , or is there more to glean from this experience? Maybe the idea of “mindfulness” is appealing, but in practice it doesn’t always go how you envisioned.

Yoga can be a guide for tapping into the wisdom that is within each of us. In this workshop, we will learn to listen to the wisdom more closely and discover strategies to enhance emotional health.  Join us!

  • Learn how to receive the mental and emotional benefits that are available to you in your yoga practice
  • Tap into your inner wisdom and find guidance for working through emotions and memories when they come up on the mat.
  • Discover effective strategies for developing your practice of mindfulness on and off the mat.

Jamie White, LPC, RYT, is blessed to have been born and raised in Colorado, and has been practicing yoga for over a decade. Off the mat she is a Licensed Professional Counselor helping clients overcome trauma, depression and anxiety. As a yoga instructor Jamie utilizes ideas from psychology, neuroscience, and yogic philosophy to inspire her students and facilitate healing through the mind-body connection. Jamie believes that changes we make in our minds, bodies and spirits on our yoga mat translate into healing and more abundant living in our lives off the mat.
